Default 1" rear bar installed.

what a difference, the stock bar looked puny by comparison.

really tightened up the back half.

now i need to install the bar Mark gave me.

While I was under there I noticed the pre-load posts for the diff rear main caps were seeping. anybody else have this problem? thread sealer? a precision application of teflon tape? I want to remedy this situation when I change the fluid next weekend.

By about an eigth. It might be going on tomorrow if I have the time. I need new endlinks and bushings for the rear bar.

What's the best grease to keep these from squeaking. A full synthetic of some kind?

So, another question.

Would this bar improve all around traction?

It seems since I installed the bar the tires don't spin as much, during my 1-2 shift on the street my tires only spin roughly half as long as they used to go up in smoke. Less wheel spin at launching too.

The bigger rear sway bar will keep the car more level in the back during launches... which could result in your straight ahead traction being better, since the weight transfer should be pretty evenly distributed between the rear tires now.

Of course, I still smoke 'em up easy in 1st gear... just the rear end doesn't start drifting to the left so much when I do it.
