Hellllooo chatter.

Otherwise .. I liked mine. It grabs hard.

Not sure if I'd get another SPEC though.

I have a Spec Stage III also I love it! Just like Tyler59 said, it grips hard especially with a steel flywheel, not mercy when getting used to it. But I am agreeing with Tyler again i don't think I will get another one when I get my new one. Have fun with yours though very good choice!

I love my spec three I never had a problem with it in fact It is still going strong after countless 7200 rpm clutch dumps on slicks

Yeah, but your car weighs like what, 500lbs with you in it? Not moving as much mass as some of our cars... my car most likely tips out at 3700 with me in it. That's a lot of stress on the drivetrain to get moving all at once.

Spec 3i here and i haven't had any problems with it...although it hasn't seen much abuse yet. It chatters like crazy at really low rpms with my billet steel flywheel if i dont ride the clutch, but it does what it's supposed to.

Got the clutch in! Have about 100 miles on it now, but I'm lucky if even 20 of those are actual city miles.. Thanks again Ellis! Yeah so it engages like a **** and vibrates like a bitch in 1st gear. Before when I would rev-match to shift I would have about a + or - 300 rpm range.. Now it's about 50rpm or CLUNK! I haven't done anything stupid yet, but I can just TELL that as soon as I break it in and start shifting the gears, the back of my head is going to hit my seat like never before! Some people say the vibrating and chattering will go away after the break in period. What is your experience with this guys that have this clutch?

At first it there was an unbelievable amount of chatter as it was breaking in. Absolutely NOISY.

After a thousand or two miles it's here and there, but mainly comes in spots when you're in neutral at an intersection waiting for a bit. Not to bad but can be rather annoying to explain to your passengers 'what that noise is' all the time.

mine only chatters now at really low speeds when cold. As soon as it's warm it will go away.

After about 400 miles the chatter cut down significantly
