Now Now, Enough with the name calling. Why not tow with our types of cars? I can tell you they definetly do not lack the power . I know of somebody on this board that towed a trailor from Ohio to here in his 02 Trans am Now he is running low 11's. Nothing wrong with using your car a little bit

I've seen a Corvette convertible down in Everett launching a boat ...
He said it's the best vehicle he's had to pull a trailer with its low center of gravity and of course power.
I totally agree it looks wrong ... but really is functional that way. I just wouldn't want all the extra weight and of course a hitch coming out the rear when I wasn't towing something.

Don't you actually have to put the car into the water to launch the boat? That picture just makes me cringe...

I think the driver took this ad on the back of the trailer too seriously:
Then again, a bet with the driver even without the trailer on who would win a road race would be a sucker bet

Actually, I don't usually back the trailer in much farther than that...I figure if I can keep the bearings out of the water, if a seal does happen to leak, there's that much less chance of water getting in. That boat will float in a puddle, doesn't draft much water. The way I figure it tho, even with the boat behind me, there still aren't many people who can take me...
