Most likely most of them are still up at the track. The track was so bad they were only going to give us if we were lucky 2 time runs before elems. My husband & I just left. I did one time run then just left.

Getting in to the gate was hell as is.

Well, track was a slip 'n slide, for me anyway, a couple passes I went every direction but straight for the first part of the track. Red lit BIG TIME 1st round, -.155, blah...that's what happens when you get flustered when the person next to you is already staged before you even start to come in and the sun is glaring at you...looked up and for some reason thought the 2nd light was the 3rd one...oops...as far as times go, managed a 11.56 at only 119.x leaving the line at 4200 and spinning outta the hole...oh well, a bad day racing beats a good day at work. I think the team gave away at least 7 races due to red lights, not sure what the total tally was. Had 19 cars, and I had fun, but think I'm never gonna go to Pacific ever again, it was a zoo and the track sucked. Not sure what happened at the end tho, I left at 10 and there was still more racing to do. That's what I know,

They had the Hot rodders & the Diesle trucks out there to so they were going to run them instead of us.
When I was staging I felt rushed & Hell they didnt even look at my truck they just grabbed my tech card & signed off on it & it was someone I didnt even know.
the tech guys I know Will go oh hey & say open the hood then not even look at it then go ok its good have fun but this guy didnt.

Oh yeah, and as mentioned above, waited over a half hour to even get into the stupid place, showed up at 4:20, got in there and started unloading the car around 5 when the people who got there early were getting back from their first time trial. Freakin zoo I tell ya.

YOu know they are having slow drags in Reno this year. Dont know which Day or where at. But I know they are having them, Car can not be under any kind of power but gravity & you can have as many people as you wish in the car.
My brother in law was thinking about doing that in his 71 Chevelle vert but I dont know now. Tempers between my husband & his brother flared at the track today.

We got there at about 3:30 or so & waited for the track to open, Then got told to go around someone who parked in one of the lanes & walked away from their car. Then after we started to go around the person finally showed up moved the car & we were waiting for someone to let us in But this Damn Viper couldnt bother going around us (since we were stuck where we were at until some one let us in) & the gate person Yelled at my husband. He went over Talked to one of the CCCA guys & they told the track people they cant be treating us like that. After that things went down hill from there. Left the track right about 5:15 because my husband didnt think they would allow him to get his DRs on & get a time run in. They were saying if you didnt get a run in before 5:30 you were hosed.

it was ****** horrible, i am not going to pacific again.

there were two final rounds left. the diesels and the nwfbody duo. they let the ****** street class and the bikes do round after round while the two final pairs sat for over an hour.

that track is run so ****** poorly it's a joke.

I sucked *** in my one elimination round, left the damned AC on and cut a horrible .087 light. that aint gonna cut it against a .013 sandbaggin 1st gen from the camaro club. he played with me the whole trip down the track. next time i line up to that clown im dialing in at a 15 and sandbaggin his ***.

oh yeah, it was hot as hades. i was running .2 slower that usual and i think that was the general consensus.

BUT! I still had a blast. Just like has been stated by SilverBullet, a bad day at the track is better than any day at work!

Oh yeah... as usual, Pacific was a clusterfuck. But we've come to expect that right? So who ended up winning?

Oh, and I raced the Subaru red wagon of death for anyone who wants to know... Ran consistant 18.5s in the two time trials... so then when Pacific decided to dick around, make us wait an hour and a half for eliminations, the car cooled down, the track cooled down, and the Soobie broke out at a blistering 18.20.

A certain newly acquired LT1 car got runner up and the orange 69 chevelle took 1st. Cept the 69 owner got a nice flat on his driver side slick from a pothole in the return lane. Yet another reason to quit running at that abortion of a track.
