HAHA if you would have given me a LITTLE notice, you probably could have used my garage and tools instead of doing in an apartment carport. Shoot it would have taken me an hour to get there at 4:30 you would have been done by the time I got there!

Looks good though.

Ya man, a little bit of notice or a post on the board and you could have had a couple people helpin' ya out, in a garage even lol... 3-4 hours still isn't that bad though. Crap, it takes that long to change out one side on an LT1 car lol.....

Headers look good though, what brand are those and how much did they set you back?

JBA shorty.. chrome
and JBA plug wires... was $470 shipped.

and it was short notice b/c of the tracking of them.. JBA claimed they weren't going to ship until wednesday, whereas the company i ordered them from said i'd have them on tuesday.

so not sure what happened there.. i got them around 3..and wanted them on the car ASAP.
now's time for my roadtrip
i'll see you guys in a week

I think I'd gladly do a header install on a GTO over a header install on a F-body.

3-4 hrs?! Quit your whining already. It takes us 2-3 days on an f-body.

Hey Mark, I realize you don't want to look at my posts but will you at least acknowledge that I am alive.

haha, yeah, i know how much headers suck on an fbody

helped a friend remove his manifolds on his LT1..blah.

and then helped another put LTs on his '01 Z28

but this just sucked doing alone..having to push the exhaust forward to seat up to the collector..then manuver a bolt through..hold that..then put on a washer and the nut

my entire body is still sore.
but yeah, the sound is very nasty at WOT..
i just need to get some pipes on to remove the cats.
then i'll just have headers, straight pipe, resonator, straight pipe.

If you don't have the Edelbrocks... Took me 1 hr to take them off and have my manifolds back on.

BTW it looks great Nathan.
