ahhh, I bet it's not a blind tapped hole and the threads protrude into the port space. I'll wait for the groomaster to post up.

BTW, Do you have tires? You might have some traction issues now Might want to look into that if you haven't already

Thanks! Track will have to wait for a little 'cause I can't afford anything breaking on the car after the mods. All I do since I bought the car is just driving (spirited sometimes) and so far so good, just gas and oil changes.

I have the F1-Gs-D3 tires (goodyear) and they're amazing for daily use.

I have read about this on heads that have agressive porting. I saw the valve guides sticking into the intake runners, but forgot to look for this. Completely normal according to what people say. Those heads look KILLER Nick!!! Veeerrrrrry nice job.....

And I was going to go out there last night to watch / help Ellis, but when I walked out around 6:30 to leave it was raining lightly & there was a big black cloud between me & Monroe. So I bagged it. So WHO waxed their car yesterday? Quit it already.....

PS start saving $ for Nittos....you're gonna need em!

It was me. I waxed the black car waiting for the Brown Truck to bring my cold air kit. Brown Truck never did bring the part but the black car got a little love and is tucked away under her blanket.

Why do simple parts take several weeks to get across the country?? Why do parts that you need for the weekend show up on Monday??

Thanks Mark! It seems like my long nights of research will pay off And of course I have to thank all of you here for the patience on answering my questions, lots of them very stupid, now I realize.

The learning road ahead is still very long but now I can get there a little faster

When the stocker becomes teethless I'll go for a 9 inch. But as of now.... not a chance, chash isn't flowing in as fast as I need.

Give it a good hard launch with that new power and 4.10 gears... you'll be on the horn for a 12 bolt or 9 inch sooner than you'd like.

Thumbs up

Update: The master didn't like the valve-to-piston clearance with the F13 cam and TEA 5.3 heads so to keep the compression the same he decided to work on the valves themselves (and maybe the seats) instead of using a thicker gasket.

to the master, I have to give him props for the better safe than sorry approach
