What is the deal with the green dot behind the number of posts each member has on the site? Not complaining, just curious. I have hovered over it a couple of times and it has said a couple of different things. Is it just a new toy on the board or is it actually there for something?

I believe it indicates whether or not that person is online... green being an indication that they are.

That would seem redundant since there is already a line that indicates if someone is online or not. For example yours right now is white and I see that you are online.

I don't know because last night it said something about being on a good road and today it says something about user feedback.

Oh, it seems to be a "user ranking" thing... how much positive feedback you've received.

Sorry, so how do you provide feedback on someone? Or negative? And what does it really tell you?

Looks like the "checkmark"/"X" box between the "user is online or not" and the "report bad post" buttons gives you that chance.

That is from some of the site admins about the little boxes. Unless you are a vendor/services or sell parts from time to time it seems like a pointless feature.

Interesting... so the Thunder Racing cam and my good posts about it meant nothing...
The one Radix I bought from Speed Eng and the two I referred meant nothing.
The good feedback for Tbyrne for several purchases meant nothing. Nice to see that these features are meaningful. Apparently meaningless posts is the best way to be "Made" in the forum.

Does that sound bitchy? I don't mean for it too...

Awww.. thanks

This stuff cracks me up though. What are these features when they aren't used consistently? It's like the moderator searches. Don't apply unless you have at least a thousand meaningless posts. Maybe things were different previously, but the last couple months of mod selections aren't all that impressive.

That's my bit... over and out.

What to you have to do to get positive feedbacks and when would you give someone else positive feedbacks? And here's the kicker, why do you need it? Who really cares if they are getting positive feebacks?
