Default New cam specs

Well got an email from my builder today, and in it was my new cam specs what do you guys think 27X/28/ 75X/75X 104+8 should be pretty nasty the rest of the specs are I geuss. Also got my pistons, and crank in so it is coming together. Motor should be done by december I hope. Now the rest of the car, That is another story

Just wanted to let you guys know how the car is comming

what a wimpy bumpstick that is!

















holy crap!

so thats 27x/28x for base duration and 3/4 inch lift on a 104+8!! wicked!

Do ya need me to break in that motor while you get the car squared away?

Sounds like it's gonna be a bad *** mill. Thanks for the update and keep em coming!!

Shure you can break it in you just have to get a drivline that will supprt it and oh and did I mention It will be dominator feed so just go ahead and change your whole fuel system too

It will be on a 408 iron motor with some well worked heads setup for tripple springs

whats that run ya? i remember chris telling me his glide case alone was 2k. I think it was around $5500 after it was built.

what brake stall are you going to run?

Are you sure those aren't the specs on the crankshaft? DAMN Dog, that's freaking HUGE!!!

And here I was feeling pretty good about my new blower cam too. Mine looks like a pencil someone chewed on in comparison. And mine will likely idle smoother at 400rpm than yours will at 4k!

So do they have to reduce the base circle size to make that work? Or just carve 1" craters in the pistons?

That's huge for a small block. I can think of some BAD DUDE BBCs that are running cams barely bigger than that.

Its going to be close to that, as far as stall goes not shure yet got to wait tll the cars done so I can get a spot on weight, and then wait till the motor goes on a engine dyno
