rear ends??? Im sad, It has finally set in that I cant make both tires spin together when I smoke them. 
I was sure that a trans am could do it stock. I wish there was somthing I could do that is not too expensive. :sad: please help and I will 
you forever.

at me Trans Ams have a posi differential stock. If you car can't do it, your carrier is probably fried. There are a number of options in replacing it...
One would be to just replace the stock one... but personally I'd recommend using an Auburn or a Eaton carrier to replace it.

I had that problem with the stock rear end, It means the posi unit is toast. If you have the money I would go with a 12bolt or 9 inch, but if not mybee look into the difrent types of posi's that have already been talked about.

whats the cheapest proper way to fix it. I just dont have the money for a new rear end,
