Auto trans ?'s...
Well the Camaro may be going to a new home this week so it's on to a new project. I found a 71 Chevelle that has a 70 front clip that I will toss a little LS1 into. I love 6 speeds but I think it will be a little easier to do an auto and it would make a great bracket car also. What route should I go? 4L60E? How much to have it built to handle a 400+ rwhp/tq motor w/ a little 150-200 shot? Or what other options... Has to have an overdrive!

I think it's cool to see a car that looks so harmless running times like that.

Yeah, his new goal is 140 trap speed...That should about cover it. Especially now sense he has a verter that will pull a way better 60 foot. Even a 1.60 would have givin him somewhere in the 10.5 range at 129.7, instead of 10.85...

Well, I think Ryan's 550ish rear wheel now, should be at 700ish engine power...and looked very good after Ellis pulled it apart last night... 800 flywheel might be a pipe dream though for a full race season, don't know until Ryan tries...We shall find out next year....4L60e's will handle the big hp now if everthing is upgraded...The last few years have been very good for developement parts for them...
