Default Christmas Party

OK, I know it is not even Thanksgiving yet but we should plan to do something for a NWFbody or LS1tech Christmas/Chanuka/(enter your winter celebration here) party. I have a big empty house with a fully stocked wet bar and I could cook anything if we want to get together at my place. Or if someone else wants to host that would be cool too.

No matter where we decide we should come up with a date that we can all attend. If we start planning now I can just about guarantee to be there myself because I have to ask for time off WAAAAAYYYYY in advance.

So how about it? What do you guys think?

I don't know if im even invited but I would like to hang out and talk tech and party at the same time. Whats better than a party full of ls1 people? hmm cant think of anything for fun than that! larry kash

Default party

hey!! I think that a christmas party would be an awesome Idea, especially for those "people" who never show up to any get togethers because of work Dont know who that could be...(me) . I will be back from the boat in a week or so, so anytime after the 12th is great. Let me know Ill bring the misses out too and introduce her to all. I also have yet to meet anyone from the forum or nw fbodys in person. Call me when there are plans or pm me.

I'd be down for that........so long as it is after the Steeler game.
Although, November 27th is good since we play Monday night that week.

Seriously though, let's do this.

Howeird you read my mind (scary thought, did you have a heart attack?) since I'd just mentioned it to Steph a couple of weeks ago.

We aren't sure if the house will be done by then (new flooring, paint, trim, windows) so I was hoping it could be hosted somewhere else but I'll help you set up. I love goofing with decorations and food stuff, though I'm only talking about setting up the snacks. The *real* food I'll leave to you!

Put up a poll with a few dates - best way to figure out who can make it when

Actually I was thinking of PMing you and Steph to help get this together but then decided it might be better to just do a thread so we could get it brewing in everyone's mind. I really don't mind hosting (I love pissing off my neighbors ) but I was actually looking for any suggestions and help with planning too. Working 60+ hours per week blows when you are trying to plan a party for everyone on the forum.

Happy to help! Steph will see this I'm sure and probably have some great ideas as well - I think putting up a poll now would help best for a date. Do you want me to do that for ya based on the responses so far (and your schedule)?

Of course I'll bring the travel poker case

I'm up for almost any time since I'm a bachelor every weekend in the winter (the wife teaches ski school). We could even do the party in the Taj Ma Shop. we've got tunes and enough room to do a little kickin'. The neighbors only complain when the're not invited or the music's not loud enough!

I'll volunteer to sear some flesh on the barbie!
