Default WS6 wheels

Not that I want to sell mine, but how much are they worth? 2001 Polished Aluminum with WS6 center caps.

In perfect shape, they're probably worth about $100-150/wheel. People like the '98-'00 style wheels a little more... so the '01-'02 style doesn't command as much money.

I've been trying to sell mine for ages and have gotten no takers on them.

The '01 model is different than the '02 model. The 01 is that smooth polished, almost chrome looking one. The 02 model doesn't shine as much and has a different design.

The first pic is of my car before any mods.

The second is of a 2002 model, the wheels are different.

Actually, they switched to what you have as the '02 style wheel during the '01 model year... the ones are your car are a carry over from '98-'00.

The style you have are typically worth about $150/wheel if they're clean and have no curb rash. But like I said... I've been trying to sell a set like that forever, and have not had any bites on it locally. Mine aren't perfect, though.

might've been a mid-year change cuz I've seen 01's with the other design.

98- part way thru 01 got the same wheels.....then sometime during the 01 run, they switched to the 02 style. I preferred the earlier ones from my 00 till I got rid of the ones from my 02....now I like those better.

What are you looking to get for them?

I have a set that I'd sell for like $400, but they're not perfect. They all have some curb rash on them. I do know of a place that does really good quality wheel repair, though, and could make them look like new for not a whole lot.

I've been debating on doing that myself... I was actually going to wait until my WS6 arrives so I could see what kind of shape those wheels are in before I moved any of the ones I have.

I have no idea what you're referring to. Neither does my son. And I'm pretty sure I've destroyed all photos and evidence of any such occurance.

Oh, and can anyone tell me why my profile shows up only as "guest" with no post count? I can't seem to save a sig either.

Thanks,

John

Have you ever registered on this site? That is bizarre, I didn't know you were allowed to post as a guest here.

Yep, I registered earlier this year. Maybe I should terminate my registration and try to re-register.

I bet your account got whacked or something, maybe they kill them after a certain period of inactivity. I would recommend that you contact one of the admins of the site and see if they can fix up your account.

Do you have pictures of them? I'm pretty interested...any tires?
