Default Update on my WS6..

The car was picked up this morning, and is now en route to North Bend, estimated delivery date is 7-12 days. Can't wait, I am jonesing to drive it.

So it looks like I should have the car here by the end of the month.

Not much, other than converting it back to stock and restoring it to showroom condition. Then I'm gonna use it as a show car.

My Formula will still be the track / mod beast.

Yeah, I figured that if it came down to replacing the leather, I could buy an entire rear seat setup for less than the price of recovering it... and then just recover the front seats... might be able to get away with just doing the driver's seat. I'm going to have to replace almost all of the interior panels... I'm gonna steal trim from my Formula if I can.

I'm also going to swap the entire exhaust from the T/A on to the Formula, and combine it with some LT headers. It's probably gonna be loud.

I just need to find a '98 one-on-the-left exhaust for it... and I need to get some stock brake calipers back on it, too. The ones that are on there look like ****.

Awesome........glad to hear you'll be getting your car soon! I too am getting my car soon. Hopefully, if I can get time off work, I can pick it up Tuesday.

We should plan a get together at the end of the month if weather permits.......what do you guys say?

I want to see your new purple addition......

No way would I let anyone drive one of my cars 2000 miles. That would be way too much stress.

No worries. I would take care of it and you, but I know what you mean. It is much safer in a crate on a train.

It's coming by truck, actually..

But I've been on vacation for the last two weeks, I could have easily gone there and driven it back... I just didn't think the weather was going to cooperate.. Too many passes to cross, and it's been snowing in most of them.

Congrats man but you have to get rid of those stickers the VERY first hour.... In fact I would COME UP AND HELP just to get that crap off there in a timely fashion

I found a place that has "leatherette" which is what most of the seat is anyways. front and back covers you can do in two tone too for four something. I'm requesting swatches of both thier leather and the leatherette to compare. But I may go with that and lie to wife telling her its leather cause its for her car.

I'm replacing any parts with OEM. The car is gonna be showroom stock condition when I'm done with it. And I'm not taking off the stickers until I'm sure there's not a "official" reason for them to be there. Once I've determined they were not on there when the car shipped, I will take them off.

I just got off the phone with FedEx and it's looking like the car is going to be delivered this weekend. Going to be interesting trying to juggle work and picking up the car.

I'm still researching whether there is a legitimate reason for it to be there, but it's not looking like there is and it will probably come off shortly after I get it here.
