Default Anybody interested?

I got some ET Streets mounted on some 16" Firebird swirlies... size 26x10.5x16. Used for one full season, probably have at least another full season in them. Will come mounted on the wheels, have inner tubes and are screwed to the rim, so they're ready to roll.

I need bigger tires with more sidewall, which is why I'm selling...

I'm thinking $200 for the set... wheels & tires. Let me know if you're wanting them.

Do you think they'll fit on my lowered Vette? I'm running 315/35/17 DR's on 17x11 ZR1 wheels at the drag strip..........

Do you like the way those 315's work? I am running 315 street tires but was figuring on going with a 9" wheel and 275's for DRs when I finally get around to it.....

Damn... I'm interested, but money is a little tight for me at the moment because of buying the WS6.

I'm currently debating ripping the suspension off the Formula and putting it on the WS6, and then redoing the Formula's setup for more of a drag racing configuration.

Won't that lower the WS6 then? So much for keeping her stock eh?
Can you show it in the stock class if it is lowered/modified suspension? Just curious as I have never shown a car.

Nope, I would have to show it as modified.

I'm just rethinking my approach now that I have two cars.. partially because I'm thinking that as soon as I hear that exhaust (based on the truck driver's description - he said the car sounds "really mean") I'm gonna have second thoughts about taking it off. Before I was trying to do everything with one car... now I can gear either car for what I use it for. I think that suspension on the WS6 would kick major ***, where on the Formula I wouldn't be getting a ton of use out of most of it because it's a drag racer.

You know, I'm not entirely sure if they would fit on a Vette... backspacing might be an issue, but you'd have plenty of clearance. I don't know if the 16" wheels clear the brakes though... might want to see if another Vette guy chimes in.

16" wheels won't clear Vette brakes.

Well, so far I've only got a best 60ft of 1.8, but I think with the gears, clutch and rear-end I got now, I may be able to get 1.5's-1.6's. But they sure look mean.... I think some ET streets will work better.

That is correct. When I bought the C5 front brake adaptors for my car the MAIN disclaimer was that you had to use 17" wheels minimum.
