Just saw this in one of my developer email links and thought I would sare:

For the Man Who Has Everything - the V8 Snowblower
November 30, 2005

RealTechNews

It’s winter and that means that the real men who loved our coverage of the Hemi Grill need a wintertime outlet. Rest easy. Here’s one for the snow and sleet - a V8 Snowblower.

Kai Grundt’s V8 snow blower raises the bar on the traditional snow blower in every respect. With electric start, electric block heater, antifreeze heater and eight cylinders, it has no drive belts to freeze up and you’ll never get bored with the job as the 454 cubic inch big block Chevrolet V8 produces 412 horsepower, 430 foot pounds of torque and can throw snow 50 feet at just 3500 rpm. Nor will you get cold as the machine has been ingeniously designed to route the engine coolant through the handle bars, with the rear mounted, enclosed radiator keeping the operator nice and cosy. The snow melted here Wednesday, but today its back and its sticking again.....oh and wouldn't you know it, I have the day off again. What a great week. I hope the snow melts off before my header install tommorrow. I don't want to put them on and not be able to bury the go pedal.

Actually there was a picture but I could not get it to copy over and I don't want to throw it up on my site to link it. But, judging from the picture, it is for real.

That is not the pic I saw but it is the same blower. The one I saw in the article had a guy walking it so you could see the radiator from the back.

TONS of snow here in Lynnwood & Edmonds......this is SOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome. I haven't ever lived where it snowed except for one winter in Missouri, but that was like 22 years ago. This rocks socks.

Same for Bellingham, but for the most part the streets are clean. But it's colder now and this is the kind of snow that sticks! The small little fuzzy ball flake ones that go crunch when you walk.. Yeah you know what I'm talkin about.

He's almost as tall as me. Dirt is on him cause the ground was kind of muddy under the snow.
