If it has the LS7 when it comes out, I think that could be my first new car purchase . So far I've played a lot of cards right financially and that would be a good graduation present to myself

It looks to have IRS from the design (yuck) and the nose looks disproportionate to the rest of the car. Both passenger and driver shots of the nose look terrible. Plus it seems as if the cabin glass is very short and there is a butt ton of metal. I don't like it. I want that big catfish front end we're used to.

Also, before everyone gets excited about it, you might want to make sure that it will have a V8 in it too. Look what happened to the Monte Carlo, Impala, Nova, etc. I would think that it will, but I wouldn't put it past GM if they don't have anything bigger other than a supercharged V6. Also, it may not even be rear-wheel drive.
I know I sound like the biggest Chevrolet killjoy out there, but talk and concept cars are cheap. Until I actually see a PRODUCTION model of the new Camaro, I ain't buying into the hype.

Just put it this way back in Aug of 2004 I was told that we would NOT see the Camaro in the Detroit auto show in 2006 unless one thing happen & that was truck production pushed forward a head of times. Well that was pushed forward & now We see the Camaro. How did I ever guess that one happening? & NO I didnt get any information from someone that worked in GM it was a very good gut feeling I had back then.
I told everyone back in 2003 that we will see the new Camaro in 2006 at the auto show & to have faith, GM will bring the car back. But everyone said NO I was wrong. Well guess what This time I am right.
Now I am also thinking that GM might be doing something behind our backs & Bringing it out at least if nothing else maybe in a very limited 40th anniv of the camaro for the first year. I was once told by someone that when they bring the car out it very well may be the production model car we see at the auto show.
