Navy Blue Metallic, beautiful color.
LCA's are suspension parts on F-bodies since 82
They are the bars that run foreward/back from the axle to the chasis. The panhard bar is the bar that runs across the car from the passenger side of the axle to the chasis. The torque arm runs foreward/back from the front of the rear end to the tranny. LCAs keep the rear end straight, panhard keeps it centered, torque arm keeps it from twisting. F-body rear suspension 82-02 101

101 part A....LCAs help prevent things like wheel hop for drag racing, especially if you get relocation brackets & use the lower hole in the rear. As Bill said, solid LCAs work best for drag racing, and ones with hyme joints work best for cornering. Some people run adj shocks or even an air bag on the r rear to keep the tire from torqueing up into the wheel well under hard launches.
An adjustable torque arm can change how hard the car "hits" the rear tires when you launch by changing the pinion angle, and moving the moment point forward if you buy a shorter one (not really needed for our cars unless you are running 9s). There are whole books written for suspension & what part does what. If you beef up the parts, the f-body suspension is actually very good.
Good luck on the car!!!
