Default whoa...

Houston, we have a problem.

I just wanted to set the record straight here. All of the things I typed were in jest and typed with a smile on my face. Nothing I typed was personal(unless you count ribbing about having a slow car...which was done to me too so no biggie). It was said that **** talking amongst friends was no big deal and a lot of people here know me and that I enjoy a good **** talking session. I think maybe some of the people that don't know me thought I was being serious, took offense and then even the people that do know me jumped on the band wagon of "**** this mustang owner". I showed the pics of Ryan's car to my friend (the one you banned also) who has two fast 4th gen Camaros (One is a single turbo LS1). He thought it would be fun to insert a little jab and it spiraled out of control from there. Apologies for the thread getting whored to ****. Nothing said got to me and I hope the same is true for all of you. I hope to stay here and continue to help out occassionally as I have done in the past. I WILL not be talking about racing anymore online here as I am the minority and it's obvious I cannot win an E-battle here. I do still hope to race those of you who want to this spring and I will let that speak for itself.

Also, I do own a LSx based vehicle and I obviously live in the Northwest, so I feel I belong here as much as anybody. Nobody knows anything about my shitbox car because I just moved back to WA this spring and when I lived here before(98-02) my car was stock save for exhaust and a 75 shot. It ran 12.70s and that is surely nothing to write home about, IMO (even back then). That is all I'm going to say about my car and, again, I hope to see you all at the track in '06!

Is this some pathetic way to apologize to us???........... well I for one accept your attempt at playing nice in the sand box.

my personal opinion Is we are all guilty at one point on this board at rubbing each other the wrong way.and some of us have even went to other boards just to troll and raise cain. I myself have done things that i should have said sorry for........that was said as a joke and taken the wrong way.

what some of the guys don't realize is. If anyone of us said eric can you help me...he would be right there without the punk attitude that he gives on this board. I talk to him daily via msn and he is a nice helpful guy that never gives me anymore crap then i give.

Ryan think about it...If he jerks anymore chains i will back the ban up 100 percent. As it stands now I'm not sure if he should have been banned i'm guilty of some of the stuff he was banned for..why am i not banned??

One of the reasons i gathered was lacking of post content...shall i referr everybody to exhibit a rottluvers post(hotties in a ws6) of 25 flipping pages of slamming him and his "girlfriend"everyones of us took part in that i we loved every min of it

and besides that ellis is now working on the blue car because eric stuck a boot up his butt so to speak..Thanks eric GO GO ellis

I've know Eric for about 6 months. He talks mad smack about racing but has the fast iron to back it up. He will help ya out if ya need it for sure and is one of the good guys out there. If he was banned for gettin' froggy, it needs to be revoked.

My opinion was, I never really thought it got out of hand, and say reinstate. But that's up to Ryan. Still, I'll run ya in my beater, no problems, it's just for fun anyway.

I'm not a Mod & am ignorant of the rules. But I took no offense to what you were saying Eric. Personally I like having some fast Frods around to spice things up. (even the slow ones like Kents are welcome ) I am going to try to beat you down come spring. Nothing personal of course.

OK, If we can take a break on the "I'll race anybody because everybodies car is slower than mine" attitude. Does that work?

I don't EVEN think you want a piece of my 89' K5 Blazer man!!! It's got a tow package AND overload springs on the rear leaves!!! You can't touch that kind of raw power anywhere.

I'll race anyone, but I don't think everyone's car is slower than mine and that they're all afraid of me, or that they're somehow modding their cars for the reason of beating me. I know a lot of people in this group are faster than me.

I'm sure the others in the group don't believe that when I'm modding my car I choose my mods with the intent of being faster than them....and I'll be damned if anyone ever accuses me of not showing up at the track to run someone when I've been talking smack about them.

I think that's my whole issue with this guy... he comes on here and talks smack, and the best run we've seen him do is a 12.3 (I saw it as well)... Ryan runs 10s.. might even run 9's with his latest mods... and some schlub that has a 12 second car and won't show up at the track to prove otherwise is talking **** about it?

Sorry, but I find that unacceptable. I don't care who the guy is or how cool he is in real life. That's a bunch of crap.

He was at Bremerton when my friend and I were racing the C-10 lol. One of the 2 times to the track I made it last year, but I had more fun that day than any track day before He seemed like a cool down to earth person, very modest about his car, but that is just because he knows what he has

Yep, and I was 1 car back from getting to race him that day. We both turned 12.30s on that pass too. Maybe next time.....

I'm sure it was motor.. And you should have seen his 1/8 trap speeds, he wasn't going full out.
