The coolant opening in the head gasket goes to the back.

It was crystal clear as soon as you mentioned the triangle holes on the phone.

Got a question about your windage tray, though... Did you have any clearance problems?

You will have to use washers under the bolts to avoid clearance issues if you're talking about the crank hitting the windage tray.

That is what I did. The main bearing bolts came with an extra set of flat washers, so we used those between the windage tray & the main bearing nuts. Gave me plenty of clearance.

Thanks for the good back up guys. I had already decided to use washers when I posted the question.

The point was to "fish" for info from Ryan that might point to him using a stroker... But he won't be answering now... LOL

Right, get Ryan to divuldge any details....well, it IS Christmas. But isn't that a pic of a new iron block in Ryans garage Cory? Need he say more?

Did you check your mains? Mine ran .002 +/- a pube, and the engine carries 45 psi at idle hot & over 60 psi running. Not too shabby for a GM crate motor.
