160 T-stat's, all the same?
160 T-stat's, all the same? So, I've been looking at ordering my Thermostat. I see them at Napa, Schuck's, Autozone, and online through many of our vedors. There are a number of different brand names(Milodon, Valucraft, Hypertech, etc.). Are any of these really any better/worse than the others?

from what I under stand there are two different types. one is the whole housing like the old LS1 and then the is the new style that just has the basic insert like a LT1

At least with the ones sold at schmucks there is the standard thermo and the "gen 2"
Difference being the gen 2 when it fails (whenever it fails, two days or 20 years) will fail in the open position allowing water to flow over it. So no blown hoses or over pressurizing the system.
