Is it the car, or the driver (or both?)
I wanted to see if Drag racing was fun, which it is. I then looked at what it would cost to build the clutch, tranny, rear end to support the power and came to the conclusion if you want to play by an automatic car for the strip.
Isn't great to have both. I love the M-6 but the A-4 is a blast to drive as well.

After years of racing just about everything ever made by any domestic company, both manual and auto, the staight strip is easier to manage overall with an auto but wouldn't have the same fun on laps.
Just go with what is going to be the most fun and goof with the M6 when you don't feel up to hard running
