Chevy question and congrats
Secondly, can someone tell me the local value of an 88 Vette with 75K on the clock. You can assume it is in excellent condition. Also, are there any problem areas to that year? It's an automative with the typical AC etc. Thanks in advance.
Based on that, I'd say a mechanically sound, clean looking '88 with 75k miles would probably go for around $8000-$9000.

Mine I got a good deal on because it overheated and they had no clue as to why, paint isn't in all that great of shape, and it had a significant oil leak from the intake manifold and rear main seal.
So after a little time over at Speed Secrets, it runs good now. Oh, and Ellis pointed out to me that the wheel bearings tend to go bad on the C4s... something to check for as well.
Engine wise, I don't know what to look for specific to the TPI... don't have any experience with them.
Had a 86 Vette once & the digital dash was messed up & I think the price was up about 500 to get it fixed.

I may need to consider a power adder. I am not even close to the Top 10 anymore.
