Do you know if the 18"x10" wheels would fit up front on a 2000 Camaro SS.... or would I need to go for the 18"x8.5"?

I know some auto-cross racers that wedge 17x11 wheels with 315 tires on them in the front of both Camaros and Trans Ams BUT they have to do some serious beating on the fender wells and occasionally some other modifications (plus they almost always stick out beyond the fender lip). I would say, to be safe, stick with the 8.5" wheels up front. Others here may know more about it but 10" seems pretty wide for it not to rub.

Why would you pay big bucks for a wheel that looks like a stock C-5 wheel?
