I love the 505a's......specially w/ the staggered look w/ the huge lip in the back. I would say you couldn't go wrong w/ either one though.

The 505a's keep the z06 look but give it a bit more of an aftermarket flair.

I like the 500s b/c they look like they're going to be easier to clean.

Thats the first thing I noticed about them as well. I love the rounded CTSV factory wheels. Easy on the knuckles!

Buy em both, you can give me the ones you dont keep.. lol cant go wrong with either one really, the 500a's wont be that much harder to clean, but they will be more work.

Both look great.

Consider what the brakes will look behind them, some of the very open wheel designs expose the calipers, rotors and rotor hats. If all that is stock and the hats are rusty it makes a beautiful wheel look bad.

The 505a give it a little pop without looking strange.
As for cleaning time...its a given with any rim, even the stock ones.

I've got sloted/drilled rotors, powder coated calipers, and SS break covers going on as well.

505's all the way, get chrome ones or get use to polishing all the time. I have a friend that has em polished and he is always whining about the up keep.

I agree with all of you the 505a's do look better, but I think they fit the ZO6's FRC style. I think the SP500s are just better suited for the coupe's. The SP500s are a little more bubbly and curvatious, which I think fits the coupe's style. That's just my opinion.....

Either way, I'm about to go ahead and pull the trigger on some SP500s.

19 x 10 (front)
19 x 11 (rear)

Thanks for the input tho everyone. Now for some gorilla wheel locks. I think I'll buy 5 sets so there'll be 5 different locks to take off a wheel.

Here's a crapy photoshop:

Seriously though Lisa (my little latin lupy lue) says that the 505a's look so hot that she would sex you in the vette!!! I promptly said that i'd get rid of her but she said the rims were worth it. The other rims she said were worth a handjob at best.

LMAO I'm kind of confused by your scaling there, sounds like some testing may be at hand (no pun intended) in order to better analyze your scaling.

And, still confused by the definition of lupy lue, lol.

Oh and the Darts are in Renton, I stored them at my Boys place. He drives an 01 Impala, so I figure he wouldn't be swapping them in to his car during my trip.
