This one is an '81...but '77 was the original...

77, and 79 Smokey and Bandit One was the 77 of course and I think it was the best of the two. I never liked the front end grill on the 79 being bent. I liked the 78 much better and the first movie was the best as well.

But honestly I thought it was a 78 trans am in the first one and a 79 in the second one

I think the one from 3 is a 82-84, but I am not sure on that. Never seen it.

Maybe it was 'actually' made in '82, but was put out in '83 so they say it's an an '83 movie

79 is still the best year of the big heavy underpowered smogger big block cars IMO. And you could get one in the bandit livery too.
