For some reason the new C6 wheels (Stock & Z06) just don't do it for me away from the Vette......that may change later on but right now they are just blah to me.

Of course it took me a couple years to warm up to the F-Bodies after they came out with the 3rd Gens...I SOOOOOO loved the 1st & 2nd Gens and was crushed when I saw the 82+ at first.

Gonna run this tire or a 305 rII
If I can swing it this wheel instead of the others. Who needs OEM ZR1's with RII's and F1's ? Still fresh rubber.

Well I already asked how much you want for the RII's

Have you called on the Fikse's yet? You can get them alot cheaper than the advertised prices. Also check America's tire for ***** and giggles.

Get the Fikse's you obviously have a hard on for them and if you get something else your just going to continue to obsess about them and probably spend more money in the end.

HMMMMMM wonder if thats every happened to me

**** dude you spend money on that car like its a tax write off or something, why not get the one thing that makes the biggest difference in appearance what you want? You have more money is suspension and brakes than you would in Fikses....and sell me the RII's cheap...

Thunder Racing, Tbyrne, America's tire, MTI, and there is a high end tire place on Macadam if you BS with them they don't rape you and they have the best tire\balance equip.

Man don't you know how it works? Manufactures don't allow retailers to advertise thier products under a certain price for lots of reasons. If you call you can get below that price sometime Way below that price. Iforged for instance are not 800 bucks a piece like it says on the website.

Americas tire will match any price, but other sponsers have been good to me. Just gotta shop around and haggle.

For instance americas tire wheel price on my BMW wheels I just got was 273 a piece. I paid 921 mounted\balanced with lugs and locks. Just gotta beg a little, places hate me though but I don't give a ****. I am loyal when I find a good place and picked up my TTII's five days later. I have probably spent 4k at Americas tire I'm sure they've made some money.

Yeah I'm thinking you can do better than that. Shop around, direct is usually the most expensive, they don't want to compete with thier retailers.

Calling any place I can find on the web but they are all saying they need to call and call me back so it dont look good. I did find a place in Portland though who would quote me wholesale if i had a shop. I Tom know would help me out so I'm waiting to hear back. Well the weather is nice, time to work on the car some more. Down to the last step in the sond deadening process. Foam. Then its re-install everything and the new audio equiptment.

Well there you go! Hey you have any extra dynamat? When I put in the new carpet the old tunnel insulation was nasty I just threw it out, figure I'll get some dynamat and throw it in there....

Not sure yet on the mat. I'm using raamat. I have the drivers door to do(forgot) havent taken it apart yet. Wanted to leave it just in case I cant remember which screw goes where. But I can get good deals on the mat. $20 less than the $100 special he runs on the web but thats a full roll. I also used second skin spectrum spray first. I do have a peice of dynamat that came with my amp installation kit though, just remembered. You can have that. dynamat is a brand name, there are a number of mfg's of sound matting now. It just used to be Dynamat but there are better and less expensive companies. I used the second skin liquid but not their mat due to its price.
I'll make another post of my project. 1st was liquid. Second was butyl mat. Third is foam. Doing the foaming now

I had a set of 315 GY GSCs (prelude to GS-D3s) and they were a little better in the rain than my 315 Nittos were. But the straight line traction was no comparision. Nittos hooked, GYs did not. Now with my new setup, the Nittos were not enough. These new Hoosier 335 DRs however HOOK like a slick, even on the street. But I WOULD NOT want to get caught in the rain with them!!!

wholesale was not much better so it looks like no Fikse's unless $2k falls on my head out of the blue

Also they all said they would recommend a 12 inch wheel for a 315

I did find used profil5s with tires for 3800, but the tires arent that good, They are expensive and new tires but wont do me a whole lot of good. The 3800 is wholesale on the rims depending on the finish. I do like the profil5s but not as much as the profil10's. They told me to run my big brakes on the front end I need the profils not the fm's which ups the cost as well. it was about a $70 difference from an 11 to a 12. But thats still $1213 for a 18x11

I like the FM10/Profil10s a LOT. Which brakes are you upgrading to?
