Isn't the Dana 60 even heavier than the 9"?

Tru-Trac is a limited slip type differential, not a locker (weaker).

Yeah, I went back and re-read the info.......but to me, 25 lbs is no big whoop.......especially since the 12 bolts seem to break in M6 cars. That and the durability of the D60 is supposed to be reallllllllly good. And I just can't bring myself to put a Ford product in my car.

My car is already a fat pig (and so am I according to some people) so a few extra lbs won't matter as I am not trying to build the fastest car around or anything.

Plus with the pinion up high on the ring gear it has less parasitic loss than a 9". And has a 9.75" ring gear too. Talk about massive!

DAMN IT! the RII'S are on back order for 10-12 weeks (18x305x35) so now I guess I'll have to go with the nt-01 (315x30x18) but it wont be as good in the rain I dont think. Might even be downright scary. Not sure what to do now.
