How do you get a 1993 Astro van up to a high enough rate of speed to injure yourself? I don't think it'd get over 65 mph in the 1/4 mile.

Awesome.

Saw this on the news last night and totally forgot.

Would have been great to see footage of this ... body roll and all.

Initially they reported it as an explosion, I figured someone was testing NOS or something with a propane torch during an off day.

Then they find out it was the idiot messing round at the track. How fast can a van go to make it look like it exploded?

And.....that was one lucky dawg!

No kidding. When I lived in Germany I hit a great dane while doing about 120kph(~70mph). The car needed a new front fascia and radiator. The dog walked away, leaving only trace evidence(hair) to prove to the Polizei I wasn't lying about the dog.

I've always wondered what goes through the mind of people doing stuff like this

If this guy indeed works with electricity, his prospects are not good... it's just a matter of time. ZAP!

No, that will all be cleared up by next weekend. Actually I bet it's already cleared up now.

Hey Pat, what were you doing there yesterday? I looked up the web site and it just said they were having some bicycle thing or something...

Were the people on bicycles dressed in clown suits?

Well I am just glad the dog is OK, screw the guy, if he is that dumb he gets what he deserves, but an innocent dog should not have to suffer due to the stuopidity of it's owner.

I saw that story on the news but I thought they said he was an employee who had been drinking. Maybe they said he was just working there (as an electrician) and I heard wrong. But I could have swarn they said he was dirinking, even though that article says otherwise.
