What will it run I'm planning on taking my truck to the track this summer, hopefully get in on some of the CCC races.
Anyways I've never taken my truck to the track, and wanted to see what you guys think it will run.
Here's the basics of the truck
72 GMC 1/2 ton w/ leaf springs in the rear and lowered 2.5" fr/ 4" rear
'87 TPI 350 w/:
adjustable fuel pressure regulator
long tube headers (no cats obviously)
2 1/2" 40 series flows (no x or h pipe)
air foil in throttle body
light porting on upper intake manifold
CAI with K&N filter
otherwise the engine is stock as far as I know
700r4 w/ a stock converter (Ellis knows what it is)
12 bolt w/ eaton posi and 3.73 gears
275/50/17 tires on 17x8 wheels.
With me in it the truck weighs right around 4000 lbs
I'm hoping to be in the 14s with it, but we'll see.
