Default Buying Chevy Parts

I don't know how you all feel about local dealers.... my personal experience is terrible. Theres some decent ones near Ellis, but otherwise I'm not impressed.
I have bought three times from a dealer in PA by the name of Fred Beans. There is a parts guy at the CHEVY/CORVETTE dealer named Gene that is simply awesome. The cool thing is that you don't even have to ask for Gene. ANY of his guys will give you the good prices. Heres an example:

I needed (2) 2004 GTO Front O2 sensors... Local Dealer $100 each; NAPA $85 each; Fred Beans 2 for $75. WTF is that about? Gene and his boys are the BEST.

I spent $135 today with them and got the following...

2 2004 GTO front O2 sensors
1 Knock sensor harness
1 throttle cable bracket
1 coolant temp sensor
4 AC Delco Oil filters
AND it was all shipped for the $135 total.

You just can't beat those prices. As much as I hate having to disregard local dealers.... they all suck compared to Fred Beans. As much of my future business as is possible will be with them.

my previous orders were about 1 week for in-stock stuff. Special order was about 2 weeks.

Make sure you order from the chevy side even when ordering other marque parts.
