Default MSD 6al

i was just wondering if this might be a good mod for me to do next. i am debating wether to save for headers, or a new converter, or save for a little less time and get an MSD 6al box. also how much hp could this net me. i know that you don't add this really for hp, but i was just wondering how many if any i could get. also when i do get around to it, i was wondering what kind of stall i should get for a converter. i the Jason (tranzor) was telling me i should get something like a 3000 stall. but i was thinking the fuddle with a 2400 rpm stall would be better. cause my car is still a DD, so i am looking to keep as much gas milage i can get, but also, if i'm not mistaken, the LT1's peek torque comes on at 2400 rpm. so wouldn't i want my car to launch then.

My peak torque is 3800rpm. I would save your money and go for headers.. Expecting anything significant powerwise from the 6al is what all the ricers do

A stall will usually give you the biggest bang for the buck gain. A 2400 is a good street-friendly stall, and should net you ~3/10ths. I doubt the MSD box would do much for you, but wait for Ellis to chime in....he's the LT1 God in these parts.

Do some other mods like a used set of headers or something...
