well from what i have read frome other articles it is going to be called the Corvette SS!!!

 

Makes sense to bring back the Sting Ray name for the car if they are going to be brining back the Camaro also. "Corvette SS" sounds redundant.

The sound of that Camaro was great. I just wish all those stupid biyaches would shut up so you could hear it clearly to get a sound byte.

 

It will not be the SS just like it would never be called the Blue Devil even though the Corvette was the first to wear the SS badge that no one knows about (except true Vette nuts).

It sounds awesome in person, but no way they could put that exhaust on it from the factory.

 

A supercharged 7.0L in a fast-back Vette? Damn, THAT would be SWEET! I could even see myself with one of them.....except that I can't afford a $100k car. When you ordering one Eric? Or will Don beat you to it? Tick, tick, tick....the race is on.

 

Well the GM documents show it being named the Corvette SS. I personally think that is a dumb name for the vette but oh well, at least they are doing something right...

 

It's their "new" marketing strategy.....back in the 60's & early 70's when we were actually selling lots of vehicles, a bunch of em had the SS nameplate....so lets bring it back on EVERY FRIGGIN THING WE MAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
