Default Evergreen Speedway

What are the guidelines for racing there? I don't want to show up and not be able to run. Their site is pretty bad for anything but the circle track stuff, their schedule doesn't even say what time the 1/8th mile drags start at.

Thanks,
Douglas

1/8th mile drags start at 6 pm. It's on the top left hand side of the front page.

Here are the General Rules: It sounds like it's basically the same as any other track. Long sleeved shirts, pants, no open toed shoes. Your car should be ready to race just like your taking it to Pacific Raceways.

Thanks Steph, it was after like 10 minutes of reading the schedule to find it posted on the front page :-)

What about helmets?

Just make sure you can take that corner at the big end.

I use to race there. You'll need a helmit, coolant overflow, and your battery tie down. That's it, they're pretty slack, they race lawn mowers and just about anything. Track prep sucks though and the corner at the end is a bitch. I warped my brakes and wore out my tie rods after three years of racing out there. It's not a full 1/8th either. Fun though.

I just want to dial my car in a little and get some practice launching. I've only raced the car once before, and that was w/ a tired 305, so I'll have some adjustments to make.

I've been thinking about doing this too, practice the launches and let it shift to second then get out of it. Mostly for getting the tree down pat.

Gimme a shout when you are going and I'll meet ya there.

Where's Evergreen at? I know I was there when I was a kid to watch roundy rounds, but forget where it's at.
