What custom dash in the Chevelle??

Well I'm thinking I want to put a newer LS based car dash in the Chevelle. What do you think would be best? Camaro would be cheapest but I love the C5/C6 clusters.

The problem with the Corvette and GTO clusters is they have the car's name silk screened on them.

I am to old school. Full complement of Auto meter gauges

There is one company that makes drop in's that are real nice...the are not LS based though sorry

Yep! Boeing surplus + Autometer Pro-Comp gauges will make my ride's dash pretty race ready

I'd do autometer too.

I think the vette guages would be cool, but a major pain in the butt to get all the DIC stuff working correctly, and without it what's the point.

For a custom application, I don't really care for the F-body guages. I don't remember whta the GTO look like.

I was originally planning on doing a SS dash w/ AutoMeters which is still a possibility. But this car is going to be a mix of old and new. I'm using this car to really show off my customization. Now I feel a C6 dash if molded in nicely would fit in w/ my project since the plan is for C6 Z06 rims, C6 Z06 brakes, LS2, etc...

While I like the look of the Vette clusters too, the way the dash is molded to meet the door panels would kind of force you to incorporate them into the car. The GTO or F-body would not. The 56 Bel Air here at Boeing with the Camaro interior looks SWEET!!!

Who needs a Speedo? Tach, Oil Pressure, Water Temp, Voltage are enough for me.

This one also has a nice datalogger built in, and EASILY interfaces with DFI or BigStuff3.

I know you can do the EFI datalogs, but Racepak datalog graphs are WAY better.
