As mentioned in an earlier thread, my front tires on the vette are horribly worn, so that bumped up my time table for ordering wheels and tires.
So I ordered some chrome C6 zo6 wheels. Unfortunatly I didn't want to pay mega bucks for tires for a 19x11 wheel, so I went with stock c5 sizes (17x8.5 and 18x9.5) I would have liked to have gone bigger in any direction, but since these are just street tires/wheels there is really no need. I'll have my wagon wheels for autox (and road course if I ever get there) and 16x8 camaro wheels for drag tires.
Unfortunately they were out out of the 18x9.5, so its going to be like 2.5 weeks until I get them. The tires I'm getting with them are Sumitomo HTRZII. They're supposed to be a decent tire that is pretty cheap. I have Sumitomo HTR+s on the back of my formula and have been happy with them.

Great choice! Who did you get them from? Kinda funny how much the rubber is for 19's. I'm gonna run the same wheels but in 18X9.5 and 19X12. Found black chrome ones for $990 shipped and I will probably pay the same for just the rear tires... Those will look sharp on your C5!

Did you go with chrome? I think that is a great price and I'm thinking about a set for my car. There is a guy on the CF that has a set of used ones for sale but there in that dark gray color, might look good on my Nassau Blue.

yeah, chrome
I was thinking of getting some competition grey wheels or oem c5 zo6 wheels, but decided on these.
Here's a pic of what they should look like, but I don't think these ones are chrome.
