Default Need help with check engine light and codes!!!!!!!!!! ELLIS?????????

My car's check engine light just came on. So I checked the codes and the only ones that worry me are these two.

10-PCM P0135 H C (heated oxygen sensor (H02S) heater bank 1 sensor 1
P0155 H C (heated oxygen sensor (H02S) heater bank 2 sensor 1

What the hell is this, and should I be worried about it? I have no Idea what is could be and what to do about it. I don't have but the 2 front 02 sensors since I have not catylitic converters. Also, Ellis turned off my rear 02 sensors.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I see this alot with headers. I usually turn this code off. It sett's becuase the sensers do not flipping as fast as the PCM thinks they should

Not a problem. Clear them and when we get a chance we can 'fix' them

I think the exclamation marks were b/c he thought it was the NO2 that caused these codes. Hopefully it's just like Ellis said tho. Becareful w/ the pre 01' blocks and piston rods, their not as accepting w/ the spray as the later models.

Who told you that?

I know the cooling chanels in the pre 01 blocks are a little different, but I've never heard anything about the connecting rods or pistons.

I do know that the 01 and up Z06's have better pistons than the LS1 based motors.

Anyone else have any info on this??

Hey Ellis!!!!

Someone in another thread told me that my 02 sensor heating element is bad! Does that sound right? Could you shed some of your wisdom on me?

He told me to replave mine with this part (bosch 13111's). What do you think?

Here's how to fix everything up. Put in your 275hp jets and shoot it off the line with a mother of all 7500rpm clutch dumps, walla no more codes?

I'll try to find the info, but I know I read it somewhere. It had to do w/ the actual composite used for the rods.

Hehehe I like that idea. I have had this code out of brand new sensors

I am making an order for sensors in the morning. Let me know if you want in.

Mine died of lead Poisoning I guess six Gallons of 114 was to much!
------------------------------------------------------------------
I just checked and they are the same as my car(four wire flat) at $45 ea plus shipping. Making the order around 7:30 am!

I did a search and found that many many cars are running 600 plus rwhp on the stock bottom end. Even with the early years and no one is having any issues.

Well I guess it wouldn't hurt. How much we talking? Send me a PM with a price so I can do some financial figures.

okay.......sounds good. But I think I need the rear 02 sensors, right?

I don't know why I'm asking you, I know you know what I need.

Get me two and I'll pay you when you want me too.

In the early LS1s (up to "01") they did actualy "advise" against forced induction of any kind 'couse the conecting rods were suspect????? and yes many guys didnt ever have a problum,..........however,........just as many guys DID!!! The bottom line is SO WHAT?,... run it till it blows then ask for help right here to rebuild! "we have the technology,"..........."we can build him better,.......faster" and put away many beers too!!!
