Header install in progress

Header install in progress I've been working graveyards the last few weeks, and originally thought I was going to be working this weekend, but we fell behind schedule and can't do what we were going to, so now I have the weekend off. So since I've been up till 6:00 am or later each day and my wife went to bed, I've started installing the headers...
Actually, first I removed the stock H-pipe and mufflers. Man you have to get the *** end of the car way up there to take the mufflers off without cutting them off!!!! Also, one of the bolts that connects the H-pipe to the muffler was welded into place
so I made quick work of it with the sawzall.
Right now I'm just taking a quick break before I go tackle removing the exhaust manifolds.
The catback is going to be here on Monday and the last of the clamps I need will be here tuesday.
I ended up ordering some 3" high flow cats rather than trying to use the stock ones and cutting up the H-pipe. This way I can re-install the stock stuff if I ever need to.
I'll get a quick video of it idling with open headers tommorrow!!

Well I finally got all the exhaust on. What a pain. I had a lot of clearance issues with the drivers side header. Then I had to do a lot of welding and working on the stupid reducer that came with the header. I used clamps to clamp the cats to the catback, and they're leaking, so I'm going to weld them together in the future.
Overall, this thing is LOUD. My wife wasn't impressed with the volume. Maybe she'll get use to it.
