Header install in progress
Actually, first I removed the stock H-pipe and mufflers. Man you have to get the *** end of the car way up there to take the mufflers off without cutting them off!!!! Also, one of the bolts that connects the H-pipe to the muffler was welded into place
so I made quick work of it with the sawzall.Right now I'm just taking a quick break before I go tackle removing the exhaust manifolds.
The catback is going to be here on Monday and the last of the clamps I need will be here tuesday.
I ended up ordering some 3" high flow cats rather than trying to use the stock ones and cutting up the H-pipe. This way I can re-install the stock stuff if I ever need to.
I'll get a quick video of it idling with open headers tommorrow!!
Overall, this thing is LOUD. My wife wasn't impressed with the volume. Maybe she'll get use to it.
OR when you go to do a clutch you will be cutting it back apart

Here's a video of the exhaust: Ackattack's vette
