Hey now...the molded sheetmetal with floor carpet over it is actually quite comfortable in the back. It has TWO seats, a dash AND a heater!

Bone stock I was sitting at 3600 with a full tank and me in it. Not really sure what now, probably about the same. Anything I've taken off has been added back in with reinforcements.

My weight was found on the scales on I5 across from wild waves.

3520 at the scale on highway 9 and 3500 on the scale near 128th with full tank of gas and no driver. I thought it would be about 200 pounds more than this.

Nope. It's still got the factory leather front seats, heat, stereo, p.s., abs, stock metal hood, stock carpet with stock sound deadening, and about 20 extra lbs from some added sound deadening I put in it when I was going to do a mondo stereo.

It's going to get heavier with the auto swap though. Also not sure if 275/60/15 MT street radials on prostars are heavier than a stock wheel with shitty kumho tires.

The big things that helped on weight were:

!A/C (40 lbs)
!Spare and jack (30 lbs and I got AAA )
!Stock exhaust and replace with TSP True duals (50 lbs)
!Front bumper support (forget weight 20 lbs maybe?)
!Back seats (25 lbs)
!Driver steering wheel and replace with Grant removeable (8 lbs)
Prostars front and rear (40 lbs for fronts, rears aren't mounted yet though)

Still need to
!passenger airbag and bracket (14 lbs)
Install Chromoly K-member (25-30 lbs)
Buy Madman manual rack (40 lbs)
Do SUX2BU carpet mod (25 lbs)

And all sorts of little stuff. Hope this gives some ideas to people wanting to save weight yet still remain somewhat streetable.

I finally got to weigh mine yesterday. As I was headed to the car show in Snohomish, I drove past the scale so.....with a full tank of gas & the racing wheels & tires it weighed in at a sleak 3880 WITHOUT ME IN IT!!! And that was without the sway bar & shock tower brace. So, it ran 10.42 @ 131.4mph with a racing weight of 4125lbs!!! MOOOOOOO
