CCC WIN Last night
The semi final came down to 4 of the best racers out there that day... Kenny O'Keefe (#1 racer in the series), Larry DeCamp (#2 racer in the series), Jonathan Miller (who made it to the semis in both CCC and BOP brackets and was NAILING the tree), and Bill.
In the final Bill won because Kenny broke out by .001 of a second.
He earned his win, no doubt.
I just chased my dialin every round and hoped for a good light. In the semi's with Larry DeCamp I cut a .011 light that saved me from braking out big time.
In the finals I drop my dialin .005 to 13.04 and at the 1/8 Kenny is along side me and I know I have more top in then him so I'm thinking I got him and then the car starts missing bad and then clears up. By that time Kenny has 3/4 of a car on me and I knew I was done for. At the end I'm starting to pull some back and he hit the brakes and my win light comes on Yea!! he broke out.
When I got my slip I saw it was only by .001 and I ran 13.070 better then it felt but good for the win.
I think that when Ellis gets it tuned it will be more deadly then my Vette. I want to thank every one that helped out in the Car Club this year you worked hard I can relate.
I needed a brake and I had a fun summer doing other things.Bill Sallia

Oh I know Kenny is tough, his points speak for themselves. I did not know it was such a tough battle though (my ride home wanted to leave). There are some damn good racers in Car Club, I would never argue that point. Anyone that wins or even goes some rounds earns it.
Congrats Bill!!

I got the truck ready to go. Thank you so very much as in the end I needed the truck and trailer to get the car home!
Great job man!
Ellis I will call you. Maybe we can exchange the truck for the Camaro so you can tune it. I'm worried I may hurt it with the bad missing going on.Bill Sallia
If you stop screwing with that car and just race it you can bring home the hardware too. I look forware to next year when you run Pro with me we can take out the big hitters and race each other in the finals. It would be cool if we made the ET Finals, next year it's in Woodburn.

One of the reasons I got my C4 was to have a car that was consistent, and that I won't feel the urge to mess with too much... so not messing with the car to help be consistent, that's good advice.
