She should become a site sponsor for all the business we send her.

You are lucky then. He could have taken your license on the spot. 25+ is wreckless driving, if I'm not mistaken. Darrin?

Not sure about WA, but a particular speed does not make for reckless driving in and of itself (according to most State laws)........gotta "usually" be 2 or 3 driving offenses, like excessive speed, unsafe lane changes and tailgating (or similar) for it to be reckless......WA may be diff but most States have a specific law for 100+ and it is not considered reckless just on it's own.

I'm up in north sound, but her brother (James) has represented me and kicked ***. He charges a flat fee of $350 for traffic infraction. A no-brainer IMO if it keeps it off your record.

Even if for $500... it'll save you in the long run.

Curious, where on 522 were you nailed?
Drive parts of it often and haven't seen one in quite a long time.

Was he pacing you or sitting somewhere with radar on? chances are if he was pacing you he still had his radar on. If you don't have a good radar detector(Passport or Valentine One) invest in one. Most cops drive around with it on all the time. Mine has saved my *** too many times to count.

The Valentine kicks *** - if you have a bit of a heavy foot they are well worth the investment.

As for where you got nailed, I'm a bit further in from that to 405 where they used to hang out 4 and 5 at a time. Its been about a year since I've seen them so wondered where it was.

Thank god you hadn't made it to the 25 zone yet! I see cops there all the time, you really do need a Radar Detector. Or just keep your foot off the pedal

The V1's are 400 bucks. But worth every penny if you have a lead foot.

I have a Passport and it's a very close second place to the V1. If I have to buy another one it will be a V1.

You can get the Passport for around 280. There was a tech member buy at the for sale forum.

Either of these are awesome detectors. I've had a version of the Passport onboard my vehicles for the last 20 years and never leave the driveway without it. It's saved me countless times.
