bringing this up again, I raced quads for about 5 years, MX, & GP style mostly. but started riding them on dunes, after starting riding dirtbikes, my current quad is a '03 Gasgas HP 300. it's been parked for a year now, since I've started the RX7 projects....
dunes areas:
beverly- just south of vantage, ~2.5 hour drive, the area is the size of a postage stamp. OK for an afternoon of fun.
moses lake- ~3.5 hour drive 3000 acres, OK dunes, dirty sand due to volcanic ash, and lots of deadbeats.
sand lake ~4 hours drive from the seattle area, it's southeast of portland... never been there , heard it's nice
oregon dunes: ~8 hours drive and worth it, huge areas for riding and insane hills, 400' tall dunes and pure clean sand.... this place is a dream!!! IMO it beats the world famous glamis dunes in so cal!
I also know some of the local trail riding areas/pits... reiter is my local favorite.
racing? what are you looking for?
P.S.- there's a couple flashes of me in the video 'quad jockeys'
