Good job Boyce!!! I'll bet lil Boyce is beaming-proud of his pops right now....feels good huh?

My JKD instructor is the only other guy I know that can fight thru a guillotine. That takes a bunch of intestinal fortitude. I could never do it. Guts & technique will win over strength. Sounds like you have all 3 bro!!!

Going to take a few light days in the gym and skip dieting for a few days and just try to relax. But I may try to enter the Axe Fighting match on the weekend of the 19th if I can get a fight. Chances are I wont be able to find a fight on this short of notice but you never know. The last fight I had I took on 2 days notice.

January is the next submission tourney and I will definately be attending that one. But I am going to try to suck down to leightweight for that one. I will have to cut an additional 15lbs but I think I can get it done. If I can make the 135lb cut off I should mow through the cometition without any trouble.

The gym membership is a bit spendy but considering the work you get I find it well worth the price. Other than that it depends on what you want to do. Since I train for MMA I have 3 different disciplines to train for so it requires different gear for all of them. So the entry expense can add up with all the different gloves, pads etc it can be pretty steep considering what your getting. But once you have everything, youre in business.

Couple of fight pics. Both pictures are from the same fight. First one is a head & arm choke but he just happened to give me leg as well to make it 10x tigher. You can see his left hand tapping for all he is worth.

The second pic actually happned right before the first pic. He was trying to "umpa" me off but I wasnt going anywhere and the first pic was the result.

You arent joking, that choke was DEEP. It took me a little bit to get to that position in the triangle and when the picture was taken I pretty much was out of it. He had it alot tighter when I was still on my knees, but I postured up and turned my chin and pressured the inside of his thigh to get him to loosen up. He wouldnt have got me with it anyways, he didnt had any more gas after I got out of the gillotine.
