Safe to say it's not Nitto weather out there! Those with FTRAs better have the block-off plates installed. Is it raining or what? Seemed like I was driving a hydroplane to work today with all of the spray shooting everywhere.

Yeah, ****. I have been hating driving my Camaro this last week! Seems like every corner I take has Nitto induced oversteer, at least it makes the drive fun, but damn my car is dirty!

What is really bad are the backed up street drains. Its not like we have falling leaves and rain and wind round here occasionally

There are some huge 'puddles' out there. Its going to kick sand and grit into places that can cause a lot of damage. Just be careful out there

My Nitto 555r's hook better in the rain than the peice of **** Falken ZE502 street tires I had on last year at this time. Even with the stall and headers I've added since then.

I think I'm gonna have to get some of those for my GTO, because it's hydroplaning bad enough out there in this stuff that it gets a little scary at times.

I don't think I'd even consider taking out the Formula in this... and the T/A... it would be full of water in no time.

What kind are you running. I'm getting ready for a new set. Pilot Sports have been great--no problems in the rain. On the down-side, price has gone up and they don't make 315's any more.

Yeah, they work GREAT in the rain so far..I ran to Snohomish earlier and didn't have any issues at all it was like any other day

On another note, I hope everyone is ok out there..We are fine here because we live on a Mountain, but watching the news a lot of Sultan and other area's are under water and the snohomish river is still supposed to rise another 6 feet tonight. We have a spare room here... if any of you guys need to get out of the flood just let me know!

I was going to guess that's what you had based on your comment. That's one of my top choices as well. Handy on a day like this for sure. 6+ inches of rain today with 6 more on the way tonight. Yikes!

Yeah, I live about 200 feet from the middle fork of the Snoqualmie River, and I think it was higher this morning than I'd ever seen it since I've lived in North Bend. It was almost into the back yard of the house across the street from me... fortunately my house is about 100 feet above the level of the water, so if my house was in danger of being flooded, most of North Bend would already be under water... so I think I'd have bigger worries at that point.

My Firebirds are definitely garage queens, haven't moved for over a month now. I drive my GTO every day.

Guess we'll have to see how my tiny little 165 metric radial front tires like the weather.

John is a first responder nationwide, he was called tonight to set up operations for evac's for anyone that may be stuck or flooded out. He will be at ops center this morning until the flooding subsides.

If you know of *anyone* who needs to get out of their home fast, has limited mobility and is in a potential area of flooding or any reason they need to move but can't, give me a call and I'll relay it to him personally.
(He'll probably know anyway but its a back up)

PS: if you get stuck out of power we have firewood I'm finally getting split (approx 122 cords from the trees this year). Anyone here need some, shoot me an email GEARHED1tech@gmail.com
Paying right now isn't an issue - I'd rather make sure those that need it get it and make arrangements on that later. Check with your elderly neighbours/friends/family, they are getting hit hardest with the price increase and shouldn't have to keep the heat off to afford to eat.
