Steph, quit hogging all that snow and send some my way!! I just love the snow ... but I could really do without the below-freezing temps. Here it is 4 p.m. and our high is looking to be 19* with a 10* wind chill *see me shiver*

I am sooooooooooooo sick of working short handed because people aren't smart enough to plan ahead for a way to get to work. I mean I can kind of understand it at first, but still?!

Yeah after a couple days, the roads are better in most places and most cars can drive on them...

I think the little flurries we were getting here today were just luck..lol

Good one. I was. All these snow days give me a lot of free time at home. Time to drink lots of beer. Just pointing out that I enjoy that.

Odd...I can remember quite a few years where quite a bit of snow hit Van right around Nov/Dec/Jan. I was up there in November (1999) exchanging a coat and on the way home it started to snow, it was supposed to be sunny so I took the Camaro. You all have as many idiots that will try to drive on an icy section - pulled into a gas station soon as I saw the potential for a pile up, turned my head pulling into the lot, saw 4 cars slide into each other. Camaro would have been in the middle of that. Waited until traffic hours cleared out and drove home no problem, snow stopped just north of WR.

If we make it up for the annual boxing week, we'll have to try to meet up. Snow or not

thats great!! I think it was in Wyoming (I drove to Boston a few years ago) that I was doing 120 mph and got hit with a gust and moved my car a foot sideways. I slowed down to 90 after that.

We luckaly didn't get any of that crap. I can just about image though. We had a blizzard this time last year, that shut the state down for damn near a week. All the trucks comming trough the scale at work had a ton of snow and ice on them.
