Talking New addition!

I don't know if I told anybody this, but I had to put down my Samoyed "Casper" after my dogs were let out of the back yard a couple weeks ago. And the pitbull I adopted's former owners just got into a house and wanted her back. They came to get her the night I bailed her out of doggy jail. I was a bit leary at first, but when they showed up and "Pookie" saw them and the ensuing happy as can be reaction of the 3 of them it was a no brainer. So I went from 3 pooches to one in a matter of days.

My lone dog Wiley needs a companion and I found out a friend of mine I used to work with has a few puppies yet find good homes for. So I decided it was time to get a puppy!! I didn't want to at first but it's been long enough after Casper's been gone and Wiley really needs a companion when I'm not there.

So I'm getting one of these little rascals Saturday! The last female he has. I can't wait! I'm going shopping tonight for puppy supplies!

Yeppers. German Shephard. Gonna be a lot of work, but I've got lots of free time.

I went a couple years without dogs while I was renting houses saving up to by mine. I'll never do that again.

Sorry to hear you had to lose your other buddies but puppies, they are so much work but so well worth it

You *know* Wiley is going to look at you like "Hey! Dude! WTF is this thing?! It ain't a dawg...its a...fluff ball!"

we do doggy conversations all the time
then again, we are nuts so there is that

Wiley is just a 5 year old doofus puppy hisdamnedself. The big goofball. He crapped and pissed in the house last night. So I have two to teach potty training now. Ever since they got out it's like pulling hens teeth to get him to go outside. Gotta trick him with a chew treat. Group sessions begin Saturday.

Neat dogs. I've always wanted a Golden Retriever. German Sheperd would be a close second though.

Good luck with the potty training lol...

Damn dude, sorry & congrats.......but I don't envy the puppy part of it. I keep looking at the calander and thanking God that she gets older with every passing day and eventually the puppy part will be gone.......hey, you crate training the new one? If so I have a spare crate that will hold up to a 90lb dog with an adjustable barrier that grows with the dog.........they are $100 at Petco/PetSmart....I can give you a bargain compared to that.

Yep, crate training in a playpen for when I'm not home and she's not ready to stay outside. Crate for nightime in the house. I'll get ahold of ya Rott. Is yours more of a cage style vs the plastic carrier style? I've got a large dog carrier in the back yard I need to check and see what kind of shape it's in. I bought a doggie bed and some grass smelling absorbent mats for potty training. We'll see how they work soon enough.

Whatcha gettin at Mark? The going after the knockers or fat and hairy?

See for yourself

Crate

Cage style, slide out tray, adjustable barrier that moves as she grows (well, YOU move it as she grows ). Let me know.....
oh yeah, still need/want that Magnaflow? No hurry/pressure just wanted to make sure you still were interested b4 I try to sell it......

Saw some jackass asking $100 for one the other day.

Does it fold down easily for travel or is it more of a permanent style? It sure ain't gonna fit in my firebird that way. Can't go wrong for 50 clams though.

I'm interested in the magnaflow, this is the 2nd hooker muffler I've had that has come apart at the spot welds and rattle. But it'll be after xmas and probably mid January before I can resonably afford it. So if you can get what you want for it go ahead and do it.
