It's probably gonna take until April ( at least ) to get my car ready anyway. It would be nice to spend a sunny day at the track with my fbody buds even with the car as is though April DOES seem like a long way off .....

You guys can't be serious contemplating racing at Btown...head up to Mission instead
Same drive time, same gas, better track with little wait between passes.

We just held a CCC meeting last night where we were discussing the format for the upcoming year. Kenny is working out details with PR & Sherry is working with B-town. I imagine Ellis will post something here soon to get your inputs. Tho it may well end up on the CCC site, so check there too.

I'm not sure why I wouldn't want to race at Bremerton. Mission is like 3-4 hours for me. **** that.

For as many people that couldn't race on race day or had problems with waiting 5-6 hours for a pass....its why I mention Mission over Bremerton.
I just hope they get it straightened out over there before next season or its going to be posted again and again....

No Ellis post yet eh? Hmmmmmm

So one idea that was talked about last night was having 2 separate venues, 1 for PR & 1 for B-town. You could go to 1 track or the other or both. But points earned at 1 track would have no affect at the other. Then we'd have a Track Championship Race at the end with the top 32? cars.

This is an idea based on what many members have suggested over the last couple of years. It's not in place yet, so don't freak out. But your input is desired.

I like simply having as many chances to race as I can. I deploy and will again this summer and having the chance to race as much as I can is always the best in my book!

We had one.. maybe two races last season where we had to wait a long time to make passes... and it was due to breakage, rain, etc.. Stuff the track can't control. The rest of the season was pretty much business as usual. I really don't have complaints about Bremerton, and after they stepped up to the plate and gave us a CCC final race there, I would say they're looking out for us.

Mission really isn't an option for me... that's way too far to drive. It would be easier for me to go to Portland.

Mark, what venue was PR considering for CCC? Are they going to have us race on the TnT nights or the bracket racing nights?

I'm not sure John. Kenny has been working out the details with Russell. I can ask him & let you know. I got this from Sherry today regarding the plan at B-town:

I have Bremerton scheduling 8-9 races for us this year and have requested that we are provided test and tune time on those days also. I have also explained that we are looking to do a run off on the last race, a kind of “King of the Hill” between the #1 at Pacific and #1 at Bremerton. She will be providing me the schedule soon.

Bremerton only charges us $20 a night. I almost feel we can't make too many demands. Thanks for the info, Mark.
