I just ran the numbers on the RC Eng calculator & it says for 600 eng hp running your injectors at 80% duty cycle @ 58 psi fuel pressure you need 40.5 lb inj's. Again, you CAN push this, I have, but it's a good accetped baseline to work from. You need to get w/b a/f & inj duty cycle numbers on the dyno runs to know where you are!
Real world example - I have 60's in my car, and it says for 800 eng hp I need 65 lbers @ 80%, and my duty cycle @ WOT is ~90%, so that adds some validity to the figures IMO. And all injs are rated at 43.5 psi flow, which on my calculator makes 30s around 40 lbers on our cars. But I was told to use 34.5 when I ran 30s, so there is no firm 100% answer. My suggestion - go bigger. You can't have too much fuel. Trust me.....

He had a safe tune at 12.5 AFR across the board all the way to 6500 RPM. He had a problem with the MAF not giving the correct air flow vs RPM. I had to remap the VE tables and the MAF to give him the correct fueling. So for what he has he has adequate injectors.

Just to add a little info your setup is almost like mine but with a bigger cam. I was running 42lb injectors and if a remember right i put down almost 450 at the wheels through a six speed, 9 inch with 40 spline axels and 28 inch slicks, so I think mark has a very good point with the fuel issue. would be worth looking into.
From what i have heard about those edelbrock heads and the flow numbers i have seen you will also need a really good flowing exhaust. And for the record I also had a stock ls6 intake and throttle body.
Just a little info from a as mark put it

Its a 234/240 112 lsa 627/641
Tom tuned it so needless to say it runs great.
It feels a whole lot different. From the clutch to the rear everything is new (except trans) The UMI trans mount w/relocation bracket and the 9" rear make for a whole new feeling.
Before the drivetrain had movement in it. From the one spongy mtr mount and the tailshaft mounted TA. The shifter would move in your hand and you could almost sense the twisting of everthing to get the load on before it would go ( if you know what I mean).
Now its just disengage the clutch and it goes instantly. Then there is the weight of the rear. It feels planted a heck of a lot more solidly. You mash the gas and it goes without hesitation in a straight line. Car feels 100% more solid.
I have the same power as before but it feels different. It does seem quicker (it should with the gears). The cam starts pulling at a little higher rpm than before and you can fell it when it hits its power band. I seem to breaking the tires free easier. Point in case. I left a light yesterday in first and the guy next to me wanted to play a little so I hit second and stomped it about half to 3/4 throttle at about midway rpms 4000'ish range. Smoldered the tires instantly upshifted to third and left them all flat.
Before I would have to be trying to break them free on a second gear shift. You can hear the car sucking air as well where before it didnt whistle as much. Sounds a little meaner too.
Only the track will tell if its truely faster but it its fun to drive once again. I'm not getting beat off a light by an SUV anymore. I'm happy with it. I just needed to be able to drive it on a dry road so I could appreciate it's new attributes. Cant wait to see if I can stick some launches now!
And I keep forgetting that it's setup for nitrous. All I really need do is get that working and I'll have all the power I need.

damn i didnt really think TJs dyno was that stingy (no offense). i would kinda like to see what blanco would put down on a dif. dyno just for ***** and giggles, cause that combo seems like itd be a screamer. ill driving back down this summer to see what she puts down again.
