Yea, it is a good thing it is a long season.

If you guys have not gone open tracking, you ought to, it is a fing blast.

I was passing GT 500's, passed one terminator, passed a vette, and numerous other lil ****, WRX's, Miatia's,

It really is all about the driver, I had a great instructor and learned so much in two days, cant wait to go back....

and it is only 4 miles from the house

I did the driving class at Pacific Raceways,
it was a blast,

too bad it's about $250 (with gas) to go out for a lapping day

You gotta pay to play. Fortunately, it does a very good job of getting the urge to speed out of my system for a while.

It's pretty rare to see a Mustang on the course here, but I have seen a couple over the years. The Cobras do very well.

Overall great weekend, learned a lot, and going to do it again at the end of July with the Benz club. Taking the FOCI again as it is on the same course. Very tight and technical, fun to pass the 500 HP plus guys, but they don't like it at all
