That was incar video from the Motor Trend test they did a couple of months ago. You can hear the wind buffet around the car. Not only that but if it was on the dyno you would have heard the whine of the rollers when he lifted.

You have to forgive Ken on this one. He can't comprehend how a corvette is aerodymamiclly superior to a cement truck unlike his cobra.

****** wicked. If you watch it to the end it says it's filmed on an airport runway.

The speedo moves like a tach for the first 3 gears. One hell of a car. Can't wait till it comes out supercharged.

I hate to disagree with my navigator, but seems to smooth and not enough wind(I do know the C6's are sealed better then any Vette up to this point), speed jumps up too quick with out some wheel spin at the start with the traction control off (my car is very spin happy with TC off and my car has only around 375rwhp) , the video clicks off before the roller whine can kick in. I am a vette guy through and through , but i am sceptical of this one.

Looks like a Dyno to me, the speed drops off VERY fast at the end...

And not all Dynos have rollers.

If that were the case the speed would have increased linearly in each gear because the dyno has no wind resistance. You can see that the faster the speed, the slower the acceleration indicating the presence of wind resistance.

I vote runway.

Could he not feather the throttle? It sounds like he backs off quite abit, would it not be screaming at 160+ not enough noise IMO

It was a runway and the Motor Trend issue that they did this in came out back in the summer. They compared the stock Z against a bunch of tuner cars. Go to the Motor Trend website and look it up.
