Mark, I believe you would be impressed with the Race Glaze, very easy on and very easy off. No stages, no waiting, comes out perfect. Very easy and very fast.

No ****

I second or third whatever it is we're up to the Zaino route. It's not as lobor intensive as it sounds. Even with the cold right now, one good long day can get a coat on. Then it's just a matter of building additional coats when you have the time. Additional coats only take an hour or so. I spent all day Sunday with a brand new car and had it done by Monday night. This included a Dawn wash to strip the paint clean of any contaminants followed by Z1, Z2, Z6, Z2, Z6. It's black and looks incredible. I'll layer more coats the rest of this week then start prepping the other cars this weekend for the coming spring season. One coat is enough more just make it look that much better.

Thanks Mark! And by the way, you can put multiple coats on in a day using the ZFX accelerator! ZFX allows you to put another coat on within an hour!

So you can add accelerator to ALL of the applications? It really doesn't tell you that. It makes it sound like it's only for the 1st step, or maybe even replaces the 1st step.

I appreciate the offer Don (I think), but I don't want to tie your garage up with my car on top of all the others you have there. Besides, when I have all 3 halogen lights going it gets pretty warm in my garage. It's got to be 65 in here right now.

You bet! I got this tip directly from Sal Zaino himself! He said to mix in 10 drops with two ounces and be sure to apply it within 12 hours. Typically this will allow 3 coats. It will take about 1 hour under normal conditions to dry.....longer when it's this cool. Allow these 3 coats to cure for 24 hours and then do it again!

That is how I did it. By the time you have applied it to the car it's time to wipe it off. Goes on easy comes off easy.

When you mix it just mix half a vial that will do the entire car and you need to use it within like 12 hour. If you want some help preparing for the show I'd be happy to help.

I really like playing around with different products and would like to learn more about Race Glaze. Most products involve steps, cleaning the paint or dealing with blemishes, Polish then Wax or topping. Is Race Glaze a final step product?

I always used Zaino on my bird and I think it's one of the BEST products out there. It's actually easy to apply if you have the patience to use the clay bar first.

Here is a page on my website where I comment a little about Zaino - some pics there too.

If it is the first time you are using Race Glaze, I would wash the car with dawn to get the old inferior products off. Then just use Race Glaze, easy on easy off, one stop shopping.

They also sell a spray highlighter that works EXCELLENT.

If you are in between polishes and are going to a car so lets say, just spray and wipe the car in minutes and you like NEW again. Good ****, I only have polish once every 6 months..stuff is awesome.
